Terminal C Rendering

The Temporary Terminal C element of the Program involves a reconfiguration of existing Terminal C spaces with the goal of consolidating all of the passenger check-in function south of the existing check-in lobby restrooms.  Additionally, the three security checkpoints scattered throughout the facility are being consolidated into the main terminal food court area creating a more efficient process.  A secondary benefit of the checkpoint consolidation is that all of the concessions are to be located post security.  Both significant terminal changes are required in order to facilitate the demolition of a portion of the existing terminal facilities to the north of the existing check-in lobby restrooms.  This demolition is required to clear the way for the footprint of new modern Terminal B facility and its two additional gates.  Finally, once Terminal B is open for use and all of the airlines currently residing in Terminal C have moved either to Terminal A or B, Terminal C will be fully demolished to make way for future terminal expansion to the South.
