Overview

General

Documents associated with the Terminal Area Improvement Program are available to bidders for review, for use in preparing bids and for executing if required.  These documents include element specific pre-qualifications forms, reference material that bidders should be aware of and which may be included in any Subcontract, documents that pertain to an executed subcontract, instructions for preparing a bid and finally drawings and specifications.  As each element of work is unique, element specific documents are not posted here, but at the individual Temporary Terminal C, Terminal A Modifications, New Terminal B, ConRAC , and Baggage Handling System Bid Document pages.

General Bid Documents

Bidders interested in seeking opportunities to participate in the Terminal Area Improvement Program bid process should familiarize themselves with General Bid Documents below and fully comprehend the ramifications.  These documents are extremely important and dictate the terms and conditions of all subcontracts and the indicated the level of performance and commitment that will be expected by Hensel Phelps on the Terminal Area Improvement Program.

Pre-qualification Statement

Bidders interested in seeking opportunities to participate in the Terminal Area Improvement Program bid process should complete the following standard Pre-qualification Statement form prior to bid.  Bidders should note however that certain bid packages and/or subsystems may require additional information beyond that called for in standard Pre-qualification Statement form. In such cases, bidders should refer to the Bid Package Specific Documents heading on the respective element's Bid Document page to find the bid package and/or subsystem specific Pre-Qualification Statement form.

Drawings And Specifications

In order to purchase drawings and specifications for any of the Terminal Area Improvement Program bid packages, Bidders will be required to obtain a username and password.  Usernames and passwords will be issued by Hensel Phelps to bidders upon request by contacting Marcelle Van Buren at 408.441.4001 or by sending an e-mail request to  username@sjctaip-opportunities.com.  For scopes of work over $250,000, bidders will need to pre-qualify before being granted access to drawings and specifications by completing and submitting a pre-qualification statement to Hensel Phelps’ jobsite office.  Once a bidder has been deemed by Hensel Phelps to be qualified to bid, it will receive a username and password for access to procure drawings and specifications.  Each Bidder will be required to purchase bid documents at its own expense and these documents can be ordered from ASI Reprographics:
